My Son and his family will be visiting Washington DC this Sat. I just found out they will not be able to tour the White House. I am so distressed. My 9 year old Grandson Jake is planning on becoming Chief of Staff upon college graduation. If you spent any amount of time with him you would realize this will be fact. You see this little guy believes that if you work hard enough for something you can accomplish it. He loves history and it is a shame he will not witness where a huge part of it has taken place. I can't imagine how hurt he is.

His great and great great grandfathers were in WWII his great grandfather receiving a purple heart. They fought for our Country can you help their grandson visit the White House?

I am just a Grammy that also believes if you work hard enough for something you with succeed. Please do what you can to make a dream come true for him.

This is the one local race whose outcome really surprised me.
He certainly must have had strong support and backing, but I thought the same for Schuring. It is my guess that external factors like the dismal ecomony really played into the Republican loss, and under different circumstances the Republicans would have easily won. Did Regula do much campaigning for the local Republicans?
