These blogs are ignorant, racist and divisive (except for "The Reverend"). The rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves. It is dispicable that one of our most decorated Generals and Statesman is willing to share his well thought out, heartfelt explanation of what candidate HE BELIEVES is best for our country. AND... what does he get for his trouble?? All of a sudden his 40 years of service and dedication to this country country get's "crapped on" by a bunch of morons.

Go seal yourselves in a cave and listen to Rush Limbaugh, I am sure that it will make you feel better after Obama wins in a landslide election.

The rest of us will continue fighting to make this country a better place for ALL AMERICANS irregardless of race, religion or socio-economic status.

Isn't it strange that a former SOS doesn't mention foreign policy when he explains the rationale behind his endorsement?

How do you really feel, Howard?

The Colin Powell endorsement is a good thing. Conservatives believed everything Powell told the U.N., he was their man.

But see...if he endorses Obama...then to the curb he goes.

Interesting to see Clueless immediately went all in on the race angle. Clueless is a sweetheart.

The Powell endorsement is a good thing for Obama and a bad thing for McCain. McCain's Republican National Convention acceptance night was a militaristic orgy with McCain and the POW worship service. To have one of the most prominent, and conservative leaders of the military endorse Obama in light of McCain's military history and experience is kind of a big, you know, deal.

Powell's endorsement of Obama does not verify Obama's judgement, but rather brings Powell's judgement into question. Powell says that Obama is ready to lead ... WHY? ... Regardless of Powell's last minute endorsement, Obama is still the most liberal senator in congress ... who accomplished nothing in his meager 3 years in office, except voting present 160 times, and campaigning for President, as well as associating with anti-American racists and domestic terrorists ... and, taking America down the road to socialism. I used to respect Colin Powell ... but, now that's history!!!

Is not Colin Powell the man who presented infront of the United States and the UN security council the case to go to war with Iraq? was he not the one who basically said "we must stop Saddam HUSSEIN" and his weapons of mass destruction program that a lot of people claim NEVER EXISTED including a certain individual who is running for President? Under his recommendation we went to war with a country that according to barry was totally unneccessary and that has caused us to loose over 4000 of our young men and women? Or are there that many people whom do not remember him doing all of that? So now he is recomend to us to vote for a guy that is even more inexpierienced than the current man in the White House at the time he entered into it. So why should he be trusted with this endorsement?

Black guy endorses another black gut. This endorsement is meaningless, 90% of the people forgot who Powell is (or care).

Now on to the best part of your idiotic post about the campaign "building momentum".

Poll shows presidential race continues to be all tied up

By Justin Miller

Category: PresidentTags: polls, John McCain, Barack Obama, 2008 Election

A new NBC/Mason-Dixon poll shows John McCain and Barack Obama virtually tied among likely voters.

McCain stands at 46 percent and Obama at 45 percent, well within the 4-point margin of error. The poll was conducted Oct. 16 to 17 — fully after the last presidential debate on Wed., Oct. 15.

The Mason-Dixon poll reflects what most other polls have found: a tie in the presidential candidates. Four of the five polls released in the past week have put both candidates within the margin of error.

Colin Powell needs the Media to reform his legacy of being proven wrong at every turn for the last 18 years. He advised not to go into Baghdad and finish the job in the first Iraq War, which would have obviated the rest of history since. He spearheaded (reluctantly) the liberation of Iraq - which he didn't believe in - then stabbed Pres. Bush in the back at every turn as his Sec. of State. Now, he is completing the circle of incompetent advice to the country by paying his pennance to Lord Obama and the Media by again stabbing in the back the one man who was right during the whole War.

After hearing and reading Powell’s non-sensical endorsement, I honestly doubt that this is anything more than another Black guy endorsing Barack to stick it to Whitey so that he looks good in the history books.
