I'm not too familiar with Stephanie's accomplishments, but from what I saw she was a positive, enthusiastic person who represented the Cleveland area well.

It is sad that Ohio lost a faithful public servant at a such a young age. I was not a huge fan of Ms. Tubbs-Jones' philosophy as she was a democrat and I am not, but I deeply respect the passion and fervor that she invested in her duties as a public official.

P.S. She was not Ohio's first African-American member of Congress, she was simply the first African-American woman from Ohio.

I never agreed with Stephanie's politics, but this is truly a sad day for her family.

Now on the the other hand, will Bill Mason try to appoint Pat O'Malley to run in her place? Maybe Joe Cimperman will try to get the seat and run in the district he actually lives in.

And did you see Kucinich?
