Boccieri for Congress - State Senator John Boccieri will hold his first event as a part of his backyard economic series tomorrow night. The congressional candidate for Ohio's 16th District will moderate the discussions and lay out his plans for restoring prosperity for Ohio’s middle class. Contact the Boccieri campaign for details.

The other big issue in OH-16 is energy. The Boccieri Campaign has issued a video to respond to Kirk Schuring's claims that drilling in ANWR and off our coasts is a "short term" solution.

O'Neill for Congress - Bill O'Neill is challenging Steve LaTourette to debate him on energy. In this short video, O'Neill lays out his challenge.

Akron For Obama - The Obama campaign will move into its official headquarters at the corner of Market and Merriman on Wednesday. They will share the space with other candidates and it will serve as the coordinated campaign headquarters. The grand opening is tonight from 5:00 - 7:00. Hope to see you there.

Stark County for Obama - There is a Stark County meet-up for Democrats interested in giving their input on the platform to be taken to the convention in Denver. The event is tomorrow night at Rolando's in Canton. More info here.

Finally, the Ohio Democratic Party announced this week that they have appointed Matt Ratner to serve as Jewish Outreach Coordinator. "As Jewish Outreach Coordinator, Ratner will serve as the party's liaison to key Jewish leaders, community groups and organizations." It is good to see the ODP hiring people like Matt so that we can reach out to key constituencies in the state.
