Part I: The Summit County Republican Party and the ORP
As far as Summit County Republicans go, few names have been in the Akron Beacon Journal more times this year than State Senator Kevin Coughlin. His campaign to organize the Summit County Republicans and help Carol Klinger replace Chairman Alex Arshinkoff was hotly contested and the talk of the town. Senator Couglin was kind enough to sit down with Ben and I to discuss a few issues related to Summit County and the State of Ohio. In our first video, Senator Coughlin lets us know his thoughts on the aftermath of his campaign to be the next chairman of the Summit County Republican Party in which he came up just short. We will be posting a couple other segments on different topics from our interview with Senator Coughlin this week.

Coughlin wasn't running to be chairman of the party. Carol Klinger was/is running.
Thank you for catching that error. I have changed the text to reflect the correction.
The most notable thing is that alexis did not want to run against a woman.
I hope you guys keep this interview series up and get politicans from around the area to discuss important issues that people care about. Good job on this video.
Thank you gentlemen. The type of thing I cant fnd otehr places.
Exactly.
Can't wait for Alex's excuses in the fall when more Republican seats disappear! Roetzel and Andress are magicians and they created the case of the disappearing offices. The Wayne Jones conspiracy in full effect.
Hope to see more local politicians on view.
Too much party in the back. Keeler/Haircut '08
Thank you and thank you to the Senator for doing this. Hope to see more of this interview and others.
You will Bill. Especially after this Novembers big loss in this area and alexis will have no choice but to step down.
